Controller

drone twins, sole proprietorship Markus Linke Letzigraben 116, 8047 Zürich, Switzerland hi@dronetwins.ch

What data

Waitlist: name, e-mail address and the optional details you give (company, country, operator number, aircraft, message). Account: e-mail address and your roles in the flight logs. Flight log: the flight data an operator uploads or has its remote controllers transfer, including GPS tracks, times and device serial numbers. Abuse protection: IP and e-mail addresses only as a hash with a secret key, to limit sign-in attempts.

Why

The waitlist is used to invite interested operators. Account and flight data are used to run the flight log: sign-in, access rights and the records EASA and the Swiss FOCA require from operators. No advertising, no analytics tools, no sharing with third parties for their own purposes.

Service providers

Supabase (database and sign-in, data centre in Frankfurt). Vercel (runs the application, functions in Frankfurt). OpenStreetMap: your browser loads the map tiles directly from openstreetmap.org. E-mails are sent by drone twins' own mail server.

How long

Waitlist: unconfirmed entries are deleted after 7 days (the confirmation link has expired by then), declined ones at once, and accepted invitations as soon as your account exists. Confirmed entries stay until the invitation or until you ask for deletion. Account and flight data: as long as the operator uses the flight log. Logbooks are the operator's records; the operator decides how long they are kept. Sign-in attempts: 2 hours at most.

Cookies

Only technically necessary cookies: your sign-in, the selected operator and the language. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to, correction or deletion of your data: hi@dronetwins.ch. You can complain to the FDPIC in Switzerland or to the supervisory authority of your country in the EU.
